about animal training and careFun games, anecdotes and information about pet—mostly dog—training and care, including suggestions for natural flea and tick control (that's the "bug" connection for the 2008 Summer Reading Program). Human “pet” participants earn treats for good behavior and new skills. Anne Burns is an amateur dog trainer, having attended and assisted in dog classes and workshops in dog obedience, canine freestyle, dog behavior, and dog agility (see our "Canine Capers" page). Anne volunteers at an animal shelter, training adoptable dogs.
Program available separately for $150 in the metropolitan Detroit area, or anywhere with one of our music programs for $100. Extra charges may apply for larger audiences.
